It is World Book Day next week (2nd March) where little ones get to go to school as their favourite book character. Such a wonderful way for kids to celebrate and bring to life the wondrous imagination in children's books!
However, as parents, if you have neither the creativity or time to rustle up a costume from scratch it often means throwing money at the situation. I cant tell you how many cheap polyester costumes we have - that will never be worn again.
If you fancy doing it differently this time, i recommend checking out Wild Things. Set up by mega talented mama of three, Kirtsy Hartley, she puts imagination and escapism into beautifully crafted children's clothes that your kids will want to wear long after Book Day. Her whimsical dresses and outfits are beautifully made. My daughter had the cat dress as a toddler and absolutely lived in it until she outgrew it (plus it doubled as a halloween costume too!).
So if you fancy buying something this year that you children will get more wear out of then I cant recommend taking a look at Kirsty's shop more highly. From dragons to badgers, butterflies to bees, rainbows to tigers - you will find everything covered! Plus she is offering a discount code of 20% off - use WORLDBOOKDAY at checkout.
